TECHNOLOGY
Programmer

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in development of new software and web/mobile applications; modify and enhance existing software and web/mobile applications within expected time, quality and completion metrics.
  2. Actively participate in scoping, design, and pricing exercises as part of the development team
  3. Testing of software and ensuring that completed work correctly meets requirements, and is in accordance with agreed designs
  4. Work in conjunction with other developers on development projects and ensure that your work is compatible with, and does not duplicate the work of others
  5. Diagnose and repair software problems or bugs, and assist with technical problems and help to resolve those problems
  6. Work with Senior Development staff and Program Manager to ensure utilization targets are met (85% expected project utilization ~34h/week of project task-load)
  7. Work with Senior Development staff to ensure code is managed and controlled according to the source control strategy for the project in question
  8. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of the softwares
  9. Package and support deployment of releases

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant qualification
  2. 2+ years’ experience in web/mobile and software development
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  4. At least one Native language.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of IDEs including Laravel
  6. Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  7. Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  8. Strong attention to detail

BUSINESS
Business Development Officer

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

Our company is looking for a skilled Business Development Officer to plan, execute and monitor performance of our electronic payment solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding business clients/customers, making presentation and sales pitch, and closing the sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive merchant acquisition through sales and innovative marketing
  2. Generate and grow sales (volume and value) for products and services
  3. Prospect by making presentation to target market and retain existing customers
  4. Engage in market research where necessary to identify new opportunities for business
  5. Respond in a timely fashion to queries and complaints from clients as regards to the company’s products
  6. Develop comprehensive knowledge about the business and its development practices, its marketing activities, prospective clients, and the trends for the industry
  7. Participate in forums related to the industry, conferences and client discussions
  8. Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  9. Submit weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly reports as well as itinerary to immediate Supervisor
  10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  11. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  12. Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  13. Handle complaints, provide appropriate or alternatives solutions within the time limits allowed for resolution of issues
  14. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  15. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Degree or HND or equivalent
  2. Preferably with not less than 2 years working experience
  3. Proven sales and relationship management skillst
  4. Track record of over-achieving achieving sales targets
  5. Ability to make write proposals and do presentation
  6. Be able to focus on a lead and close sales
  7. Ability to analyze data and make decisions
  8. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  9. Knowledge of electronic Payment industry products (knowledge POS, online API, mobile Apps etc).
